More summer fun; Camp, Queensryche and Saratoga Springs.

Central NY and Saratoga Springs NY

Aug. 2021

I spent many days at camp this summer. I really love being able to take off for the weekend and spend some time with both friends and family. Many of those days at camp were solo. I even got a fire going.

One Saturday, I went to a concert at Turning Stone Casino from Camp. Queensryche was playing and Mark and I had great seats.

I really do not know much about the band, but the lead singer, was pretty amazing in the notes he belted out. The Drummer was incredible too.

The only song I really knew was Silent Lucidity, Great show though.

I enjoyed celebrating Birthdays with friends at camp. Becky made some really great tasting foods too.

Happy Birthday Charles and Steve.

I spent some time in the woods at camp too. The area trails are absolutely beautiful.  Jay took Stefanie and I out on his golf cart and we played a round of poker run. I kept calling it Cannon Ball Run. Looking for Burt Reynolds. None of us won.

Camp at night. Loved all the lights

One day in August, Mark and I went to Saratoga Springs for some horse racing.

I never played any horses, but I did enjoy sipping my wine and watching the people. Its always a fun day and last year we missed due to COVID. I am glad we were able to spend a day at this beautiful race course.

Visit with KFA and the new member of our family; Crazy Beech

 Sept. 2021

We have a new horse! This new little gal is named Crazy Beech, and she is adorable. I simply love her. Mark and a few friends went in on their 2nd race horse during the baby sales this month. CB is incredibly sweet and affectionate for her age. I am told that many 2 year olds are not so willing to get close to people and are often skidish. She isn't, she is all about the lovin and she even smiles. (She showed her big beautiful teeth often.)

Mark and I had gone to visit her and her older brother (not really) Kisses from Above one weekend before heading to the casino. Kisses is currently at the farm being as I am told, a HORSE. When we saw him he was covered in mud and clearly has been taking his break away from training to do what horses do; HORSE AROUND! (Below is KFA)

Crazy Beech was back at the stable being cared for as she transitions into becoming a race horse. She apparently has potential although her 1st time out, she lay down on the track. She'll learn. I know that they are both races horses, but I just cant help myself from lovin all up on them. She is so sweet.

I am so excited to see how they both do next racing season. TTFN
