I didn't want to just leave out my thoughts and hurt about where our country has gone during these difficult time. I am outraged by the treatment and death of George Floyd as well as the destruction that occurred in response to such a wrongful (MURDER) death. I am saddened and upset that I ever watched the video. This is not a blog on my views around politics, rights or freedoms of any race, creed, age, sex, sexual orientation or the like, but I did not want to skirt by this issue. I am sickened by the misuse of power and continued abuse towards our fellow HUMAN. I respect the police and the men/women who are involved in law enforcement and I believe I am accepting of all people. I understand and I am aware of my own white privilege. I feel the charges against those Minneapolis policemen is just and protest should be expected. I don't support or agree in the destruction of property. This country has experienced great loss in these deaths of black men, loss great pride in being a culture of America the free, loss in our country of acceptance and brotherly love.
All I can say is I am pained deeply by what has happened to our country and feel for those families that have loss.
