Home for Thanksgiving and a Genessis birthday present.

Back Home in Central NY and Buffalo
November 20th-31st 2021

Back home from NYC and I was blessed with love and gifts from family and friends for my Birthday. Mark and I had Olive Garden for dinner and he got me a cake to celebrate. a few days later was Thanksgiving and I made dinner again this year. (We have historically done Thanksgiving at the Turning Stone Casino, but since COVID, the last two years have been at our house. I am not the best cook, and last year my turkey was so moist it didn't taste as good. Too moist shouldn't be a problem, but it really was not as satisfying, so this year I did some research and decided to avoid the bag and simply used a lot of BUTTER.

(Before baking and after) It was yummy.
It was a whole family affair at Thanksgiving; My parents, Marks mother and all the kids.

I am so very blessed and incredibly thankful.
For my Birthday, my friend Carol got tickets to see Phil Collins and Genesis in concert.

You
We did have to have our vaccination cards to enter. We had great seats and had an amazing time singing and dancing to these favorites from the 1980's.

There were some of his never songs that I did not know, and unfortunately many of the songs that were my favorites were when he was solo and he did not play them. He has some medical issues so he sat throughout the performance, but he can still sing like a champ. His son plays the drums for the shows, I think that is so neat.

Thank you Carol for a wonderful time.
Shortly after Thanksgiving I put my decorations up. Christmas is coming. Here is my Disney Tree.

I added this one this year, unfortunately the local Disney store closed so I was unable to get my traditional ornaments for the kids as I have the last several years. I'm to cheep to spend $24+ dollars for an ornament plus a ton for shipping, when last year I paid 1/2 the price on sale and had no shipping. This made me sad......

Beautiful Holiday season abound. Happy Thanksgiving. TTFN
