A trip to Gulf Stream Race Course.
On this day, we took the 21/2 hour drive south just outside of Tampa to Gulf Stream Race Course. Myself, Mark and Ben enjoyed a warm, but not terribly hot day watching the horses run at this famous course.
It was very crowded, very unlike some of the local courses or the ones we have visited along the way. This certainly is a past time that people enjoy much more then I had thought.
At the paddock, we enjoyed watching the horses and the jockey's before they raced. This is a very nice area to just sit and relax while these beauties prance by.
And there they go!!!!
They also have a casino attached to the track and we did enjoy a few games. None of us took any $ home. We need a significant win soon. Ben had a great time.
We had dinner at an outdoor restaurant. This is one of my favorite things about the warmer client areas, all these places to just enjoy a meal with the wind and the sun and the elements.
