Wendy's trip log: New Years eve weekend

Turning Stone resort and casino

Dec. 30th- January 1, 2022/2023

We celebrated new years Eve at Turning Stone resort and casino. This years theme was 1970's

we were gifted some Beekman soaps and some chocolates in our room. We got dressed and ready for the evening.

First we had a cocktail party to attend.

They were making edible bubbles. I wasn't so sure. It seemed like a lot of work for a sugar bubble

They had some tasty h'ordorves.

Some fun 70's style music. You can so see this guy singing Sweet Caroline.

I had a ton of fun singing and dancing to the Neil Diamond songs that this band delivered. We met up with Sue and Gary and had quite the time enjoying ourselves with the music.

We finished up our time at the pre dinner party and soon made our way to the main dining room for dinner.

Taking DISCO to the top. We had our very own Disco Ball Dan. ( I really dont know what his name was, but this was pretty cool.)

More 70's music kept the evening going.

Even a roller skating host.

I just love the 70's and can so "get down".

Dinner was amazing....

and the desserts were insane too.

One of the featured bands was a cover for ABBA.... I know every song by ABBA and sang my fool heart out.

These guys sent us into the New Year with a countdown and the ball drop. I have it on video, but no pictures. 10,9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.....HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!! Welcome 2023

Back in our room we had this spread awaiting us. you see, our Anniversary is Jan 1st. Wasn't this a nice surprise. Not that I could eat another thing.
