Central NY
July 2023
In between trips, I have found ways to keep busy. We still have our campsite and this will be our last year, so I am making every attempt to spend time in the camper on the weekends. The plan is to sell at the end of the season. We will no longer have use for her once we move, and she does have some issues. So if we can get her sold to someone who will love her as much as we have then that is the plan. (At the time, we all thought we would be moving to Florida sometime this fall. Story of LIFE EVENTS to Come).
One weekend was Christmas in July and we all enjoyed decorating the camp sites in the Holiday spirit.
Below is Me and Amie with Santa.
Chris and Becky.
Also during July we had our Annual Family Birthday celebration at my parents home.
Both my father, whom I don't seem to have a picture of here, and my daughter have Birthdays in July. It has become a tradition to get together and enjoy BBQ and cake.
There were also several weekends spent watching Mark's horse Kisses From Above race at Vernon Downs. It looks like he was a winner tonight. Love that horse.
Mark got a free cruise. A freebee from one of the casinos we frequent. No comment.
My daughter and I took an afternoon to see the new Barbie Movie. My reviews were in different, but who can't help love Barbie.
We have had regular visits from this little cutie. I eventually started to call him? her ? Fiver or Hazel after the main characters in Watership Down. I started littering the front yard with veggies to encourage a visit. Oddly, they didn't eat them. They just seem to like the clover.
Another Kisses from Above Race. Apparently he was not a Winner Circle horse this evening.
Although....I do not consider myself a "GAMBLER"....(who am I kidding?) I did win on this machine.
It looks like my July was pretty rewarding. If I recall, I spent much of my free time preparing for the big move. Knowing now what I didn't know then....I wouldn't have gotten rid of my Christmas tree, or maybe even my camper. Oh well, at this time...I was excited for a big change. I am a believer that God knows best and it was not the right time, more on that later. TTFN
