I started volunteering with the church at the Church Food Pantry and the church held a Volunteer appreciation dinner.
We had some fun games and ate well.
They also had Elmer Awards, I'm not sure who Elmer is (as I have just started) but certain people were granted this award.
It was a nice night, and it really feels good to be appreciated. TTFN
