Thankful, signs of the Holiday and a hike in the snow.

Thanksgiving and Ugly Sweater party @Turing Stone Casino/ a winter walk at Green Lakes St. Park
November 26-December 8th 2019

I am so far behind in my blog, I had hoped to get everything updated before the new year, but here I am still many days and posts behind. Making my way forward with a goal of 2020 to be caught up by the 13 of January.

Thanksgiving and a start to the winter Festivities.

I was still dealing with jet lag from our return from Australia and it was Thanksgiving. I was especially grateful that I was not the one cooking dinner that day, but even more grateful for spending it with my family. 2 of the 4 children, my parents and my mother in law  joined us at the Turning Stone Resort for a Thanksgiving  meal.

As always the meal was great, but the company was the best.

Back at home the Christmas decorations began to come up. Mark and I splurged on a gift for ourselves and purchased a fireplace for the living room.
I've been obsessed with the Disney ornaments and last year I stated a tradition of giving the kids one each year. I myself have added several missed years and I found I need a new tree. So now I have my very own Disney themed Christmas tree.

December 6th

On the 6th of December Mark and I went to an Ugly Christmas Sweater party, also at the Turning Stone Casino.
We had a nice dinner, I wore my ugly shirt and we voted on some of the UGLIEST get ups ever.

By December 7th, we had snow and lots of it. (this has since changed and as of this writing Jan4th 2020 we have no snow.) To embrace the cold white stuff, I am being sarcastic, I went on a winter wonderland hike with Tammy and the Outdoor Women at Green Lakes.
Very cold, but PRETTY!

Not much to say, except that everything was so beautiful all covered in snow.

Everything seems so serine covered in a blanket of snow clean snow.

Some of the ladies got silly and snow balls were thrown.

It had been a wonderful step into the Winter season. TTFN
