With all this traveling, I was in need of a some time back to normal. I spent some time at home, just chilling. Watched some netflix, cleaned house and prepared for downsizing my things. We have way to many things. As the reality of our upcoming move and future lifestyle has been determined, I realize that I will need to rid of most of the things we have accumulated with in our home. The current plan is to sell the house, camper and mostly everything we own to move to Florida following the summer of 2023. Mark anticipates retirement that June/July and depending on potential locum positions we will head towards where those lead us to. We are hoping that his 1st post will be in or near Melbourne FL, as we need to be residing in Florida for at least 6 months to establish full residency in Florida. I anticipate spending most of my time in Florida traveling to the many beautiful state parks, beaches, and Florida attractions. Of course all of this depends on where Mark will be working and this will continue as such the additional years to follow. We are both excited about the semi-nomadic lifestyle his traveling position will take us.
Our new home is accepting of dogs, so Riley will be accompanying us. Which is wonderful.
I have already joked that our new home is far from any casino's which has been a important part of our lives over the last several years. I even hit my 1st (and only so far) jackpot over at Point Place one weekend. I won the Ultra jackpot which was over 1,000.00 and then hit it again for another $800. I was happy and we celebrated with lunch.
With the winter's tail end upon us it has been nice just to spend some time in the warm places and dream of the days ahead.
