Turning Stone Resort and Casino.
December 31, 2023 New Years Evc
Mark and I were invited again this year to attend New Years Eve at Turning Stone Resort and Casino. We had a room in the The Lodge, where we got ourselves dressed and ready for the evening festivities.
Of course we had to do some gambling before we headed off to the dinner.
The theme was Western. Nashville all the way, If we knew the theme was country maybe I would have finally worn my boots. I had gotten boots for my Nashville trip, but it was way to hot to wear boots when I was last there.
I always love the decorations.
and the ice sculptures are awesome.
First we went to the cocktail hour.
It was and seems to be often a lot of fish. I'm not a seafood person, but I do like cheese and they had that too.
There was a nice country band, although I don't follow that much country music, I did know some of the songs and enjoyed singing along.
At dinner we had a single singer, she did an amazing job.
Dinner was pretty good, but I liked dessert the best raspberry pop overs. They were the best.
After dinner we had a low period, Mark and I changed into more comfortable clothing and did a little gambling before we made our way to the after hours party and new years countdown.
The afterhours party was more music and country fun. Look at the table decor and late night snacks. Turning Stone really knows how to feed you well.
They had line dancing lessons, and some more musical games.
We met up with Natalie and Mike. We all were having a great time.
This guy did a show. He was pretty good. I'd never seen anything like it. He twirled and jumped and did some spins. He was the star of the evening.
