RV camping at The Village RV Resort

July 12-July 16th

Mark booked us a few days at The Villages; Turning Stone's RV park. This RV is also the only RV park we have taken the RV since we got it. We are comfortable with this place, it makes sense to stay as it is between both Mark's work and my work and it is an absolute LOVELY place. I believe we might be spoiled at another park. We head off to Saratoga in a few weeks so we shall get a new view.
These cuties were right next to our RV.
My back yard for three days....

absolutely beautiful. We had a very nice site too.

This park has some great landscaping and the flowers are always beautiful.
On one of our many walks around the RV park, we stopped to play some horse shoes. Well...Mark did anyways.

One morning walk provided this lovely mist lifting off the pond.

I thought this was pretty interesting. I'm not sure what is going on with this tree. It looks strange all of the bark pealing off of it. It looks like the bark was burned off. Anyone know what is happening here?

Ducks and geese are everywhere.

Both the dog and the hubs are content.

Thursday evening was Alexis's 23d Birthday. She and her little family came out to visit. We had dinner at the Turning Stone Buffet. (The boys love it there.) and had cake back at the RV. Mark had tickets to Barry Manilow that evening and he took his mother. I was told the show was amazing. I stayed back at the RV and watched the boys while Alexis and Jeremy went to the TS clubs.

The following morning we all took a trip up to the pool, where we enjoyed the early morning sun and the empty pool area.

Hot tub, baby pool and the cool waters of the main pool

Maddox and Mason had so much fun. The did tricks and jumped off the side.

Later we had brunch at the Buffet. It was as always...YUMMY.

Mark and I enjoyed a low key afternoon at the RV park and made our way back to the Casino later in the evening for dinner in the VIP room. Then we went to the TS clubs. We went to the Tin Rooster first which is a country bar. I tried a signature drink and we listened to some country music. Last time I was here we did some line dancing. We also visited the Turquoise Tiger Lounge and the Gig.

The Gig was my favorite. The design is 80's hair bands. All the walls have graffiti and roadie luggage along with ROCK and ROLL paraphernalia. It was so cool. Even the restroom follows the theme. I did feel a little silly when I had to stroke the soap to wash my hand. (You will simply have to visit.) I was surprised that for as many times that Mark and I have been at the casino we have never been to this place. Definitely will return someday. I had one of The Gigs signature cocktails and we enjoyed 80's style rock from the live performers. We were having a great time before the place started to fill up and we realized we were not as young as we once were.

We certainly had a wonderful week at The Villages RV park. I highly recommend it, and encourage anyone to visit. Nice park, clean, full hook up, Wi-Fi and tv-stations, pool/hot tub, clean restrooms, and a shuttle to take you back and forth to the casino resort. We will be doing this again soon.
