Yankee's

 NYC- Yankee's

July 13-15th 2022

Ok...so yeah!!! I did this. I have been so fortunate to be a part of Tulip Travel over the last few years. Going to a Yankee game is certainly one event/activity I know that I would not have pertaken had I not been with Tulip Travel for this vacation. My gratitude is abundant. This trip is a fan favorite and I was super excited to go, We made our way towards the city and found our hotel in NJ just across the river from Manhattan.

We quickly checked into the hotel and caught a hired bus to take us into the Bronx for our 1st game.
There's the stadium.

The excitement was in the air as we made our way to the stadium and our seats. Cheers from the fans around the streets and our own was felt in the air.
My first view of the field was overwhelming. I'm at the Yankee's!!!!

Can you see the joy in my face?

We watched the team warm up.

Then the game began.

They were playing the Cincinnati Reds. It was actually a pretty good game.

The Yankee's WON!!!

We all went home full of hot dogs and happiness. Annette and Edie do the NY NY dance.

The next day, we were off to game number 2.

It was HOT!!!! and they lost.....waaahhh! Well, we had our win last evening. I totally enjoyed myself. I just cant get over the cost of things at this stadium, I guess that goes without saying. FOOD was expensive, items were expensive, its just expensive period. I am so glad that I was able to be a part of this though, as I don't anticipate doing something like this on my own. Great FUN. NY.

Lots of track time this summer, time with friends.

Summer 2022

As I am trying to catch up on over 3years of life events on here. I know that there are going to be hundreds of pictures of the time spent at the race course. Vernon Downs has become a second home for us since the purchase of the horses. This year we have two horses. Kisses from above and the baby girl Crazy Beach. Both horses had good 2022 seasons and Kisses even took the most wins at Vernon downs We had many winner circle pictures to be proud of this season. I may come across a few as I attempt to clean up this vlog and add to this post, but for now, here is "Kisses" making his way around the track.

He sure is pretty in the setting sun.
On one sunny day Renee and I took a trip out to the beach close to her hometown of Walton NY. Here we are with her cousin Maggie. We had an enjoyable time on floaties. I somehow ended up in the weeds a few times, but it was a fun filled day.

July Birthdays 2022

 Central NY

July 9, 2022

Our annual July Birthdays per tradition was held at my parents home. July birthdays are my daughter Alexis and my father. Its nothing fancy, just some BBQ, family and cake, but it has become something we do every July.

I also got to spend some time this weekend with Patty and Kelly. I just love this time of year. Perfect time to be out doors and enjoy great people.

4th of July weekend

 Camp

July 1-5th 2022

We have enjoyed our campground now for 3 years. The fourth of July weekend has always been an enjoyable weekend to spend the time with the outdoors, a few cocktails and the foods. This holiday, Mark and I arrived early that Friday to see a shelter going down the rough dirt roads alongside our camp. Many of the sites add screen rooms or partial shelters to their camp to enhance the camp experience and this one seems to have been sold and bought at another location. It was an interesting view to take in.
We almost always spend much of a camp weekend walking, we lack a golf cart which 90% of the rest of the campers have, but Mark said, we have Riley and he needs to walk anyways. The camp doesnt take to long to walk to all sites to, it would just be so much easier and fun if we had our own, but I cant come up with a better argument then simply I want one, so for now, we walk.
and walk.

and walk. There are some great trails.

and some funny notes along those trails, like the springs....yes, that would be the old mattress spring.

There are great kids activities here at the camp, and these butterflies are a past weekend activity.
This weekend Bobbi and Fred are having a pork roast, and it was indeed yummy.
Alexis and Alicia came up and we spent some time at Jeff and Grace's site singing Karoke.

Of course we had to celebrate with some traditional July 4th sparklers. No fireworks allowed, but we did have some fun with these metal sticks with our neighbors and great people Mavis and Tom.

We ended the evening at the barn where we enjoyed a band.
Its always fun at Sto-ne-nols.
